About GEW Technologies

GEW SpecMon is a business unit within GEW Technologies (Pty) Ltd (previously known as Grintek Ewation) and focuses on ITU spectrum monitoring solutions.

Spectrum monitoring systems and products manufactured by GEW Technologies are in service with the Communication Authority of South Africa (ICASA). Country-wide Monitoring and Direction Finding systems are also integrated to spectrum management systems.

GEW Technologies is also an associate member of the ITU-R and ITU-D. (International Telecommunication Union - ITU)

History

GEW Technologies (www.gew.co.za ) , a system engineering company that came into being in 1968, has since grown into a worldwide supplier of sophisticated Communication Intelligence, Spectrum Monitoring Systems and Security products. The company's business is to conceptualise, specify, develop, implement and support systems for Government institutions, Spectrum Management authorities and National Defence Forces.
