Grintek Ewation was one of the seven exhibitors at the LS Summit 2011 in Lichtenau, Germany.

There were about 120 people from 35 different countries attending this annual event.

The new Sky-i7000 monitoring receiver was publically displayed for the first time. It operates in the 9 kHz to 9 GHz band, and is a compact monitoring receiver that can be used in a stationary, mobile and man portable role with a very friendly user interface called Skymon-UI.

Numerous visitors, mostly Telecom regulators, visited the GEW stand as the Skylark 7050C Spectrum Monitoring and Direction Finder solution was also presented to these clients.

The versatile Skymon-CC software, that allows for remote internet access to a Spectrum Monitoring and Direction Finding system located in Cape Town South Africa, was also demonstrated, allowing for real time access to the spectrum at the local site from the remote site in Germany.

Grintek Ewation successfully delivered another mobile Skylark7050C spectrum monitoring & direction finding system, as used by ICASA for ITU-R compliance measurements. The total number of mobile system delivered from GEW to ICASA amounts to nine.

Africa Com 2010 took place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 10 to 11 November 2010. In excess of 4000 attendees, with more than 1000 companies and 250 exhibitors attend this International 2 day communications event.

Attendees were from 102 countries had the opportunity to see, touch and try the latest products from the world’s leading solution providers.
